The Hornets - Don’t talk about love

The Open Track of the record, a choice absolutely not taken casually.. Here you can feel the glam influences that linger in the band: Thin Lizzy, Slade, New York Dolls and Cheap Trick are always a guarantee as well as a starting point, and the result can only be more than satisfactory. “Don’t Talk About Love” is a perfect example of this. Rovaz’s initial drum roll suggests a predictable, simple piece, with packed amps and typical vocalizations of some “lead singer“ straight out of an 1980’s L.A. district, but that’s not the case. What you discover is instead a sincere, soft, apparently simple song, with parts at the same time soft and decisive, where the voice - almost spoken or sometimes whispered - is there to guide you and warn you about one of the largest and most immense puzzles of the universe: love.
