Prelude and Fugue in G major, BWV 541, by for organ is one of his great joyful pieces. BWV 541 was probably originally written around ’s period in Weimar and it was later revised in Leipzig. Bach provided it to his son, Wilhelm Friedemann, as an audition piece for the music director post of Sophienkirche in Dresden. The Prelude in G is a joyful stream of 16th-notes punctuated by repeated chords. The Fugue in G is a bit more serious although still mild in its outlook. 00:00 Prelude 03:20 Fugue ____________________________________________________ SUPPORT THE CHANNEL BY BECOMING A MEMBER The most important thing is that the people watching my video enjoy them and hopefully subscribe to my channel.
