stan harper plays vivaldi - harmonica

A performance by SPAH-designated “Harmonica Legend“ Stan Harper of one movement of the Vivaldi A minor violin concerto. Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was called “The Red Priest“ because of his hair, not his politics. An outstanding violinist, he was among the greatest and most prolific composers of his day. He also mentored a young singer, Anna Tessieri Giro, and some suspected that their relationship went beyond music, although he stoutly denied it. He was knighted by Emperor Charles VI.
