🔴 Ukraine War - France Deploys Soldiers To Romania in Response To War In Ukraine

France has deployed soldiers and military eqipment to Romania in reponse to the raging war in Ukraine yesterday. Footage shows NATO cargo planes loaded with soldiers and eqipment arriving at Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport on 28 February 2022. The soldiers seen in the video are part of the French Army’s Chasseurs alpins unit (“Alpine Hunters”), a branch of Mountain Infantry. They got deployed as part of the NATO Response Force (NRF) that got sent to the eastern parts of the Alliance in response to Russias Invasion of Ukraine. On 25 February, the North Atlantic Council activated the NRF for the first time for defensive purposes.
