The Empire Style

The Empire Style is named for the rule of Napoleon Bonaparte as Emperor and Josephine his first wife as Empress. Their architects Charles Percier & Pierre Fontaine designed the interiors for the Chateau Malmaison, which were a climax of the style. Find out more on
