Depeche Mode Live in Warsaw - Full Concert (PGE Narodowy Warszawa 2023 08 02)

An absolutely MAGNIFICENT concert. Depeche Mode are in their best form of the last 20 years. People complaining about recording the whole concert and ’not enjoying the moment’, keep reading below the setlist, please. My PERSONAL ’policy’ regarding concerts is simple, I only record them if the following conditions apply: 1) the band is ok with it, and does not specifically ask to keep the phones down, like Placebo (and that’s why there’s no Placebo gig here on my channel); 2) I am at the barrier in the first row or catwalk, which allows me to keep the phone at my chest level (because I have no one in front of me) or below my nose if I have a short person in front of me (in any case, not in front of my eyes, or I would not enjoy the show). I am quite tall, fortunately, but if I have taller people in front of me, then I just don’t record anything. The way I do it, I am not annoying anyone because I almost never raise my hand unnecessarily above my head, and I still enjoy the show watching it with my own eyes (as I don’t need to keep my eyes on the camera; I don’t zoom in or out continuously, I don’t change settings on the phone all the time, I don’t do shitty live streams on Facebook, I don’t move the phone from horizontal to vertical or viceversa etc etc, I just keep it in my hand and let it record it). As for the second issue at hand, the general use (over-use) of phones at concert, I actually agree with people complaining about it. Because, unfortunately, the vast majority of fans just raise their hands up regardless of who’s behind them, and people behind them will do the same in turn, and so on and on. And most people are looking at their cameras while doing so, trying to zoom in to catch closer action, changing settings, etc etc. If they prefer to do that instead of focusing on the concert it’s their decision and I don’t mind, but raising their hands in order to keep the phone as high as possible, bothering other people is really annoying. I hope that’s enough of an explanation.
