Clashes in US and Europe as protesters denounce COVID measures 8 NOV 2021

In Boston, counter-protesters confronted members of the ’Super Happy Fun America’ right-wing group, who rallied against vaccine mandates. Police intervened and separated the two groups. Skirmishes also erupted in the Italian city of Trieste, as well as Germany’s Leipzig, as protesters denounced restrictions and vaccination policies. Workers in Italy, who do not have the Green Pass, need to provide a negative COVID test to enter their workplace. Around 8,000 people protested the measure, according to police. Protesters also gathered in Leipzig to denounce tightened restrictions, introduced by the government in face of rising infections.
