Martin Fröst, Kalevi Aho Clarinet Concerto

Video profile of Aho’s Clarinet Concerto, produced by Borletti-Buitoni Trust in 2005 before a note had been written. The film introduces soloist Martin Fröst and composer Kalevi Aho, their work to date and the possibilities for their collaboration. The work was commissioned for Martin Fröst by BBT and premiered in 2006, followed by an acclaimed recording with Lahti Symphony Orchestra and Osmo Vänskä on BIS.
