CMC Story Time: “Susan Laughs“

For this week’s #StoryTreeTime, and in honor of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) this past Monday, Evan Lewis reads Susan Laughs by Jeanne Willis and Tony Ross. This short book, told through rhyme, follows Susan through a series of life’s moments. Told with insight, and without sentimentality, here is an inspiring look at one spunky little girl whose physical disability is never seen as a handicap.
