China Li-Ning Spring/Summer 2024 MY-VERSE Li-Ning, China’s foremost sports pioneer, staged its return to Paris Men’s Fashion Week with a powerful, kinetic, and multi-faceted experience that included video installation art, a live kung fu dance performance, and a Spring/Summer 2024 runway show that culminated in a finale performance by American artist Offset. Li-Ning titled the collection “MY-VERSE,” a reference to an ancient Chinese proverb which, translated literally, states: “I have my own space, I have my own world.” The concept of “MY-VERSE” symbolizes the vast and limitless Li-Ning universe of characters, sports, aesthetics, genres, and global youth cultures. Illustrating the infinite potential of its own self-renewing world, Li-Ning assembled a multidisciplinary mix of creatives to create a dynamic, four-part presentation. Within the Centre Pompidou’s galleries on June 20, 2023, Li-Ning hosted guests including Bloody Osiris, Ogee, Erik Ellington, Elaine Zhong, Vanness Wu, Nafe Smallz, and Kelvyn Colt amongst others.
