Tackling Climate Change: Are the Gulf Arab States Doing Enough?

As the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change was taking place in Poland, AGSIW hosted a discussion with Colin P. Kelley, Senior research fellow at the Center for Climate and Security, Aisha Al-Sarihi, AGSIW visiting scholar, Harry Verhoeven, professor at Georgetown University in Qatar, and moderator Samantha Gross, fellow in the Energy Security and Climate Initiative at the Brookings Institution, to examine efforts by the Gulf Arab countries to tackle climate change, both in terms of mitigation and adaptation.
