Shane Wighton didn’t want to get a haircut during the pandemic, so he built a robot to do it for him. The robot swivels around his head using only a pair of scissors. There are no hair clippers. He made most of the parts using a 3D printer and programmed a number of hairstyles that the robot could robot even makes small talk about the weather while it’s cutting his hair, creating the full experience of a full haircut at a salon or barbershop.
