Rayleigh-Benard-convection in two dimensions

Simulation of twodimensional Rayleigh-Benard-convection. A fluid of initially uniform temperature is heated from below and cooled from above. The temperature is color-coded; the color transition black-red-orange-yellow-white corresponds to a transition from cold to hot fluid.
