Walk A Mile: Hot Sauce [Atlanta, Ga]

Growing up I always wanted to play basketball just like many kids from the hood. I idolized the likes of Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson and many more NBA legends. But because my skill set wasn’t anywhere close to those guys an I was quite rebellious when it came to coaching and listening to trainers; I had to take another approach, and that’s when my love for street ball came into play. I watched many players from Skip to my Lou, to the professor, to AO, but the one person that stuck out to me the most was Hot Sauce aka Sizzman. After downloading all the AND1 video mixtapes off Limewire & Kazaa, I would find myself in my backyard trying to imitate Hot Sauce’s sleek moves. So fast forward 20 something years, I’m on a whole different career path which is media/content creating. With me still having a love for the culture and idolizing the street ball players it was only right that I sought out to find my child hood super hero Philip Champion aka “Hot Sauce!“
