DISPATCH: Americans, Other Foreign Fighters Join Ukrainian Citizens in Preparation for War

While Russian military forces continue to mass on Ukraine’s border, a group of civilians from Kyiv took part in a basic military training course on Monday, Jan. 31. The drills were organized by the Georgian National Legion, a military unit comprising foreign soldiers (including an American) who have volunteered to help defend Ukraine. Coffee or Die Magazine’s Nolan Peterson was on the ground to observe these civilians and their foreign military instructors as they prepared to defend Ukraine’s capital city against a possible Russian siege in the coming weeks.
