China’s Belt and Road Forum kicks off with Xi-Putin summit possible

中 일대일로 정상포럼 오늘 개막 시진핑•푸틴 정상회담 주목 The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation kicks off today in Beijing as China seeks to expand its leadership on the global stage amid its rivalry with the U.S. During the two-day event, President Xi will deliver an opening the event marks the 10th anniversary of his key One Belt One Road aims to bolster economic cooperation along the land and sea routes from China to Central Asia and Europe. Some 1-hundred-40 countries are expected to participate with eyes of a possible summit between President Xi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
