Depeche Mode - Puppets (KD Remix 2024)

This is a fan-made remix of the album track called ’Puppets’ that features on Depeche Mode’s first album called ’Speak and Spell’. ’Speak and Spell’ was my first album - it got to number 10 in the UK charts and remained in the chart for 33 weeks. I will never forget the first time I listened to it. It was a total synth experience. It sounded so new and path breaking - compared to music from the 1970s it was a very different place with many new possibilities. This is a very important album for me because it is one of the key reasons I got into synths and electronic music. Along with bands/artists like Japan, Gary Numan, Visage, Ultravox, Simple Minds, Thomas Dolby, Blancmange, Human League, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, David Bowie - Depeche Mode are the reason I got into music in the first place and why I am doing these remixes now. What a time for music! I have not done this for personal gain. I will make no money from this video and that was never the intention
