Lady Guard - public demonstration

Sebastian, our heroic ladyguard, protects his lady love from a ruffian attack in the castle courtyard. Gripping the sword closely he sweeps his enemies before him but he is forced to withdraw when they turn the tables with a crafty move, pushing him back enough so that the bandits spread out to surround the pair. Unfazed, the ladyguard continues to repel his lady’s attackers until they realize that he will not budge, and so they cowardly run away to the cheering of the crowd. Rules involved: Figueyredo’s simple rule 10 (forwards and backwards), Godinho’s rule 7, and other bits and bobs.
