c. 1958? Continued. At Heathersett (?), near Reigate in Kent we see several shots of young blind men and women at the residential centre that helps teenagers decide on which occupation to follow. Boys doing pottery, pastry work, bicycle repair / engineering or mechanics. Girl cooks a fried breakfast on a stove. Girls do flower arranging in living room; another puts a belt onto a garment. C/U of record going round. Blind and sighted teenagers at a local dance. Couples jiving to rock and roll music. The teenagers play a sort of musical chairs game.
