While IAEA inspectors demanded that shelling on the site of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and in its vicinity ‘should be stopped immediately’, the artillery strikes by the Ukrainian side continue. Yesterday it was reported that one of the shells fell 12 meters from the site of the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Experts and plant workers warn that if the attacks do not stop, there could be a nuclear disaster six times more dreadful than the one in Chernobyl. ‘I can say for sure it will be terrifying.
