Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Ultimate lose (original)

I was a kid playing the first mission of the “Armageddon’s blade“ campaign when I saw THIS first time. Innocent looking scene of castle, smiling Queen Catherine, bloodless battle… But the battle was lost, and... Is it the Queen losing her head? Oh no, the person under the blade is supposed to be me. Since I’ve seen it only once (and in fear), there were nightmares :) Initially I was afraid to play at all but later I launched the game just to see it once again (and forgot of the rest of the game at all). Even later I’ve found the sound and video to enjoy it apart from game. And finally I’ve started to write and draw it outside the game at all. This scene, initially making the game “horrible”, surprisingly have addicted me to it at the same time. At least, I’ve learned to play good just because I’ve been too afraid to see THIS once again :) Since MANY people confessed they felt the same because of THIS, I post this memory of our fear. So, (former) boys and girls, watch it once again and answer 3 normal questions: you remember it? it was to see it first time? you agree that’s one of the best (or, at least, memorable) scenes of the game? and 3 stupid ones (well, I’m just a girl scared by these sharp blade and serious man, so…) the “wise” man who gave it the rating “for everyone” (including kids) try this device on his own head? ’s the need to cut so thin rope by so huge axe? THE HELL THEY EXECUTE ME IN SO POOR OUTFIT EVEN WITH NO SHOES LEAVING TO CURL MY BARE TOOTSIES AND WAIT FOR THIS NON-ARMAGEDDON BUT STILL DEADLY BLADE??? Oh well…
