Building the MEGA Cathedral (Wargaming Terrain)

This is the largest scale model I have created so far, measuring in at 4 feet long, and around 3 feet wide with the attached Cloister. I drew inspiration from Gothic Cathedrals in Europe as well as games like Diablo, Mordheim, Warhammer 40k, and many other tabletop games. The main floorplan was heavily inspired from the Salisbury Cathedral in England, but the design has morphed as I got further into the project. I plan on using this as a piece of wargaming terrain as well as for large scale battles for Dungeons and Dragons. The Cathedral is broken up into several sections to allow for storage or for smaller scale buildings. The seams are blended together by the ruined look of the church. The large holes in the architecture also allow for the interior to be fully accessible. Throughout the build, I used MDF, Clay, XPS foam, Foamcore, Popsicle sticks, Construction Paper, Cheap Jewlery, 3D printed details and more! Resources mentioned in the Video: Black Gesso, 1 Gallon
