On June 11, 2024, the Russian Embassy in India hosted a National Day reception. H.E. Mr Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Foreign Secretary, Government of India, attended the function as the Chief Guest. Among the guests were senior officials of the Government of India, Members of the Parliament, eminent representatives of local political parties, business, social and religious circles, scientific and cultural community, mass media, ambassadors and military attaches of foreign states, Russian compatriots. In his welcoming address H.E. Mr Denis Alipov, Ambassador of Russia to India, underscored the consistent enhancement of Russia’s role in global affairs amid the emergence of a multipolar world order, the strengthening of its technological and financial sovereignty as well as its unwavering commitment to friendship and comprehensive development of the special and privileged strategic partnership with India.
