Isherwood - Willie The Weeper 1970

Here is an ultra rare Australian psychedelic stoner rock song called “Willie The Weeper“ from an Aussie psychedelic band called Isherwood. This is a really cool song with a great bass line and fuzz guitar. This is a psychedelic remake of a classic song written in 1927 by Frankie “Half-Pint“ Jaxon. The song is about drug addiction and yes drug addiction was around back in the 20s, moving forward to 1970 this song was adapted perfectly to the psychedelic scene which Isherwood added “dope“ and “he’s flying so high... leaving his body behind“ to the lyrics to make this song about being high on dope. Anyhow I made a psychedelic video for this song to give the song that extra dimension and trippy feel, I used various clips from my own video camera work and some early psychedelic commercials from the era and I added psychedelic colour effects to them to make them even more trippy.
