VIDEO 6/10: @TxDPS Troopers encountered a group of 88 illegal immigrants who crossed unlawfully on private property in Maverick County. The group included families, single adults, & unaccompanied children. Troopers arrested 38 single adults from Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Peru, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, & the Dominican Republic for criminal trespass. The 38 were transported to the Val Verde Processing Center & face state criminal charges for criminal trespass. .@TxDPS Troopers, in the last 24 hours, have encountered 31 unaccompanied children in Maverick County. 6/10: 16 unaccompanied males & 7 unaccompanied females. 6/11: 2 unaccompanied males, ages 5 & 7 years of age from Honduras.
