SpaceX Tests Raptor’s Thrust Vector Control for Starship
SpaceX tested Raptor thrust vector control (TVC) atop the tripod stand, demonstrating the engines control range once mounted on Starship. This test may be of the electric TVC that SpaceX is developing to reduce mass and complexity. Two tests were performed on Oct. 13 and two more were performed on Oct. 14, 2022.
