Odile from Swan Lake (1981)

This movie was released in 1981 and it is kind of messy. While not bad it’s not good either. The two leads are BORING, the squirrels hijack the movie, the animation is cheap looking, Rothbart is over-the-top (In the wrong ways) and childish, the climax is lackluster, the sound effects are wonky, the quality of the Tchaikovsky’s gorgeous music at times sounds like it was recorded on an old tape recorder, and the romance is just meh. It also has two English dubs. One with celebrities and one with non-celebrities. For some reason the dub without the celebrities is the one that is easier to find and my gosh, the voice acting there is to cringe-worthy. While still not a good movie, the voice acting in the celebrity dub is very well-done and suits the characters perfectly, especially Kay Lenz as Odile. The only real reason to check out this movie is for the character, Odile. She is a REALLY awesome character! I actually wish that she was in The Swan Princess because she’s just that good. Her design
