How to play a brush funk groove

Two-Direction Funk Ever since I figured out this groove I cannot tell you how much I’ve used it at gigs instead of using sticks. I mean, I still play with sticks most of the time, but having the option to play similar grooves with brushes has completely opened up my choices.
