How to scrape rocks with a plastic card, Misty Watercolour Seascape simple loose watercolor tutorial

In this video I show you how I use a plastic store card to etch or scrape out rocks, stones etc in the misty watercolour seascape. Materials: Saunders Waterford cold pressed NOT paper, 11“ x 15“/28cm x 38cm, paynes grey, sepia, raw and burnt sienna, indigo. I used various brushes including hakes, flats, riggers, calligraphy brushes, and a plastic store card for etching. My paper isn’t pre-stretched, I simply tape it to my board with masking tape, it will buckle a bit as I paint but will dry flat. My board is at an angle of about 45-60 degrees. Thanks for watching!
