Various shots of a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, priced £7,500, being driven onto tarmac by Dr DJ Pepper, Director of Rolls Royce, and handed over to the Squadron 892. C/U of radiator of Rolls. M/S of line of pilots. C/U of badge on the boiler suit of one of the pilots. M/S of Mr Pepper and Squadron Leader Brian Davis, CO of the Squadron, standing beside Rolls Royce. Davis was winner of Daily Mail transatlantic Air Race. Davis gets into the Rolls and drives it over the tarmac. Several shots of 1922 Rolls Royce being driven onto tarmac. It belongs to Lieutenant Allen Hickling, co-pilot of Davis’ race-winning plane. A man (Hickling?) gets out of the car. C/Us of details on the old car.
