Grandpa Speaks 9 Languages in VRChat

Today I’m collaborating with “Grandpa” Steve Kaufmann, a 74-year-old Canadian polyglot who speaks nearly a dozen languages fluently. We went into VRChat (it was Steve’s first time) and Steve shocked people from around the world with his in-depth knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Italian, Japanese, German, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese! I could only really understand what he was saying in Chinese and Spanish, but if he speaks the other languages half as well as he does those two, he’s INCREDIBLY legit.
