Jerusalema Dance Challenge from Palestine by PAC – Sharaf DarZaid

The Popular Art Centre (PAC) has partnered with South African Palestine solidarity groups to produce a representative Palestinian Jerusalema dance challenge video inspired by the global hit song by Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode. The Palestinian Jerusalema dance challenge video production, under the artistic direction and choreography of Sharaf DarZaid in his signature “Afrodabke” style, fuses traditional African dance movements (Cameroonian) with Palestinian folkloric dance (Dabkeh). 130 Dancers from five Palestinian governorates are participating in this production: African Community Society (Jerusalem), Watan Dance Troupe (Gaza), Baladi Center for Culture & Arts (Bethlehem), El-Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe (Ramallah & El-Bireh), Naqsh Popular Art Troupe (Jenin), AfroDabke group / PAC (Ramallah & El-Bireh) Video on PAC’s Facebook: Artistic Director & Choreographer l contact: @gmail.
