DIORAMAS ON DISPLAY - 2023 - Scale Model Exhibitions - Scale Model Diorama - Scale Bench

This is my 2023 “Dioramas-on-display“ compilation. This year I had the opportunity to go to Hungary for the first time to attend the Moson Model Show. I was completely enchanted by the number of incredibly high-quality and unique models and dioramas... absolutely the best model building exhibition I have ever visited ... an the Figures on display ... have never seen anything like this. Like the last few years, I didn’t miss the Modellbauausstellung Fliegerhorst Museum - Leipheim. In addition to excellent models Dioramas and exhibitors, the unique family atmosphere in the middle of the museum is a highlight of this small one-day exhibition. For the first time I took the long journey to the Modellbauausstellung PMC Main-Kinzig near Frankfurt. The exhibition was definitely worth the trip... great models and dioramas, friendly exhibitors and, as a highlight, a meeting with my friend Joachim, known under his channel Jorama Modellbau on YT. And because one exhibition wasn’t enough... LOL... I visited the Bayerische Modellbautage PMC Erding - Ergolding on Sunday. The exhibition is primarily dedicated to aircraft models, but in addition to military vehicles and dioramas, there were also great figures, fantasy and ship models on display. As in previous years, the crowning conclusion was the International Modellbaumesse Ried. I love this exhibition and have enjoyed every visit so far, accompanied by my friend Carsten. We also met Michael, known through his channel Hamilkar Barkas on YT in Ried. The exhibition in Ried includes a large selection of different genres and high quality works and is always full of exciting and fascinating surprises.
