Between pandemic waves, political instability, environmental collapse, and economic devastation, the three piece group operated in absentia. Mostly instrumental, and with influences as diverse as the chaos that surrounds them, they draw from sounds familiar to heavy music connoisseurs (e.g., stoner rock, shoegaze, doom metal, space rock, desert rock, post rock, etc.). The result is their own apocalypse jam radio station, all written and self-recorded in their rehearsal space. Witchrat’s 4th release, the self titled “Witchrat” is available now from Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other popular streaming services.
