The camera pans across to a man and a woman picking heather, the man is wearing a kilt. He is Mr Amhlaibh MacAindreis, who is a scientist and Royal descendant, the lady is his wife Margaret. C/U of Mr MacAindreis putting heather in a bag. M/S of the couple picking. M/S of Margaret pulling the heather off the bushes. M/S of Mr MacAindreis sat at a table, he is ’bruising’ the heather which means grinding it up in a bowl, the loch and hills are in the background. C/U of his face as he works. The narrator tells us the heather is used as a base for the perfume he creates, he gives them names like ’Scottish Orchid’ and ’Highland Peat’. C/U of his hands grinding the heather with a jar, the camera pans across as he pours it into a tray and picks it up.
