How to edit faster Adobe Premiere

I’m going to show you 14 keyboard shortcuts in 1 minute that will help you double the speed of your editing process and if you find this valuable, feel free to subscribe to the channel! First, you wanna set 2 new keyboard shortcuts by going to the menu, Premiere Pro and Keyboard shortcuts. You wanna search for Zoom and under “Sequence“, set Zoom in to 2 and Zoom out to 1. This makes a lot of sense if you wanna use both hands efficiently. Now, with the left hand, you can “zoom out“ and “zoom in“ with 1 and 2, cut to the previous cut-point with Q, and cut to the next cut-point with W. With your right hand, you can play the clip backwards with J, Play or Pause with K, and forward with L. Double click on J or L to increase the playback speed. Triple-click to increase it even more. If you have a long clip, instead of playing through the whole clip, you can move between each clip (in your selected tracks) by clicking the “up arrow“ or the “down arrow“. When you want to render or export a certain part, click “I“ to set an In-point and “O“ to set an Out-point or click X to select the area around whatever clip the playhead is currently on. To render the selected area, click “Ctrl R“. To export, click “Cmd M“.
