Restoration of an 1890s English Pocket Watch

This time I do a complete restoration of a pocket watch made in England in the 1890s; towards the end of the Victorian era. These old English Lever Pocket Watches were built like tanks and the more heavily jewelled versions capable of keeping pretty good time. Even this example I have manged to get to with about 30 seconds a day which makes it a very useful practical tool. After working on so many small watches recently this felt like I was doing a clock restoration! As I say at the end of this video .... if you are not subscribed, then you should!
