Legacy of Grabbag - Duke Nukem Theme Metal Cover Medley

Voidpoint (the creators of Ion Fury and EDuke32, the source port of Duke Nukem 3D’s Build engine) contracted me to record and produce a rework of the Duke Nukem theme song “Grabbag“ (by Lee Jackson) as a medley of the many variations of Grabbag to be used as a replacement title theme for an officially licensed port of Duke Nukem 3D for the Android platform. It was set to include not only the full 4 episodes of the Atomic Edition of the original game but also the Sunstorm Interactive licensed expansions (Duke it Out in D.C., Nuclear Winter, and Life’s a Beach - Caribbean Vacation), Duke Nukem 64, and Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown (with the exclusive Plug And Pray episode). It was to be named the “Hail to the King Collection.“ Unfortunately, it was cancelled. But with permission from Voidpoint, I’m thrilled to be able to release it for all to listen to. This theme is actually a rerecording (with a few key changes) of an old metal medley I made of various Duke Nukem themes for fun as a Dwelling of Duels entry for Free month Dec 2007. (Yes, I forgot Manhattan Project in the medley. I realized this years ago.
