Dragon Maiden Flight

Today we Maiden the 12 foot wingspan 10 feet long Dragon. It is powered by a 127 mm EDF Dynamax Xtreme Pro with a Castle Creation 160 ESC , 12 cell. This is my own design, learning is expensive and time consuming. Three years in my spare time with crashes. The Test flight was at the Arizona Model Aviators club in Mesa Arizona . I would to thank my pilot James Lashmett Team Horizon , Spektrum ix12 and Larry Nitso for helping with the details of this build. It fly’s but at 100% throttle most of the time. I still have to add the spikes, carve the head, add horns to the head and air bushing details. So that equals more weight and drag. Right now I’m putting out around 15 pounds of thrust and 34 pounds of weight. So I decided to remove the EDF and go Turbine a Kingtech 120 that will produce 27 pounds of thrust.
