Unissued / unused material. President Vincent Auriol visits Bermondsey, London. Various shots old woman fixing flower to her hat and putting it on head. Various C/Us women, old people and children waiting to see the President of France. L/S people lining kerb, pan over to prefab houses. C/U workman, pan to dog beside him. M/S Mrs. Bodger, who the Auriols will visit, coming out of her prefab. M/S car with Auriols in driving along streets, passing waving crowds, followed by other cars. Car draws up outside prefabs. President and Madame Auriol stand by car, waving to crowds. They walk towards prefab where they are received by Mrs. Bodger. Mr. E. Snowdon, Mayor of Bermondsey poses with Mrs. B. and the Auriols. Pan down from cameraman on roof of prefab to group talking below. They turn to enter prefab. M/S people looking out of windows of nearby flats. Various shots of Auriols being shown round prefab area and chatting to people. C/U Auriol shaking hands with the Mayor before leaving. M/S
