“[A]“, 1999. DH formed in 1999. That November, the group released its first demo, “[A]“, which ultimately was a flop in the visual underground. DH pushed onward, however, and later changed their name to Quiz in July of 2000. The group then released their second demo shortly afterwards, which was their first release as Quiz, although that demo sold even worse, and the group ended up disbanding by 2001. The only member of Quiz who remained active in the underground music scene was guitarist and keyboardist Hikari, who retired from the visual scene afterwards and instead focused on his other group, Brain Drain, which later changed its name to Acma, and which he was the frontman of. When Acma eventually went on a hiatus in late 2004, Hikari then temporarily retired from the underground music scene in general. In 2007, Acma resumed activities, and Hikari also rejoined his first visual group, the legendary Billy & the Sluts, at around the same time.
