Mariupol - first hand account in the city where Ukrainian Civil War begun

Mariupol is the site of one of the bloodiest battles in Europe since World War. However, the battle in 2022 was actually the second battle fought in the city in 8 years. In this video filmed on Victory Day (May 9th) we talk to the locals, explore the city and learn how a massacre of local civilians on May 9th 2014 led to the start of Ukranian Civil War, and eight years later to Russia’s full scale war in Ukraine
