North Korea pulls out all the stops for apartment complex opening

We’ve never seen a housewarming quite like this. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un somehow manages to make it party time wherever he goes, and Tuesday’s opening of a new apartment complex in Pyongyang was no exception, where the event was turned into something akin to the opening ceremony for the Olympics. Crowds were seemingly overcome with joy at seeing Kim (or being given a free balloon), fireworks were set off, and there was even a flyover as the ribbon was cut by everyone’s favorite leather jacket model. Beats getting in a local reality TV ‘celebrity’ to do the deed, anyway.
