German Propaganda (1941)

Item title reads - German propaganda. Intertitle - ’The best laid schemes o’mice and men gang aft a-gley.’ German propaganda pictures meant for neutral countries show nazi lifting a barrier whilst trucks and motorcycles and sidecars drive through. Various shots as nazi guns fire in Russia, we see buildings on fire and explosions going off. Soviet film shows them fighting back with antiaircraft guns. The nazi film shows an attack on a Russian aerodrome, with planes being destroyed and bursting into flames, but the British narrator says it was probably a decoy out in the open, and the planes were dummies. Various shots as two planes fire at each other, one spirals to the ground. M/S of big fire from wreckage on ground. In the Russian footage some good shots of antiaircraft guns firing at German planes. German footage shows captured or wrecked tanks from Russia, whilst the Russian footage shows the German losses.
