Gravity Rush 2: PS4 Pro versus PS5 Frame-Rate Comparison (part 2)

This is another comparison to show how Gravity Rush 2 performs on PS5 compared to the PS4 Pro. The gameplay footage was taken during the challenge mission “Behind the Scenes II“ which cause some unusually high frame drops in specific places even on PS4 Pro. This likely has to do with hundreds of NPC characters chasing Kat. This means it’s ideally suited to test if the PS5 can maintain 30fps here. The green colored line is showing the frame-rate on PS4 Pro, while the blue colored line one is showing the PS5 frame-rate. As you’ll see, in areas where the PS4 has short but extreme dips in framerate, the PS5 will never dip below the target 30fps. And since it didn’t falter here, I can’t really think of any other parts of GR2 that could push the PS5 version below 30fps.
