Delivery - Fools Meeting 1970 (UK, Canterbury Scene/Blues/Jazz Rock) Full Album

The group “Delivery” deserves attention if only because it served as the basis for the creation of one of the most remarkable Canterbury formations, “Hatfield And The North”. The band was founded in 1966 by guitarist Phil Miller, his older brother pianist Steve Miller and drummer Pip Pyle in Sawbridgeworth, Essex. They were joined by bassist Jack Monck and singer Dez Fisher. They performed under the name “Bruno’s Blues Band”. This is how a group appeared, which released only one album, but became a real source of talent for the Canterbury scene. In the wake of the blues boom in Britain in the late 60s, first Pip Pyle opened his Juniper Blossom Blues Club, and then Steve Miller opened Ramblin’ Jack’s Blues Club. The group performed in these clubs with such stars of those years as Fleetwood Mac, Chicken Shack, Savoy Brown and Free. At the same time, a leapfrog began with the lineup - first Dez Fisher left, he was briefly replaced by Simon Leigh, who brought veteran British jazz saxophonist Lol Coxhi
