Walter Gross’ “Tenderly“ (Fingerstyle Guitar cover by Brooks Robertson)

Tenderly, a lovely ballad written by Walter Gross. This is an arrangement I learned (stole) from fingerstyle virtuoso, Richard Smith. When I asked him if he’d show me his arrangement of the tune and how he came up with it he replied, “I stole it from Chet and Lenny“. This was one of my Grandmother’s favorite songs and I’d like to dedicate it to my amazing Mother, Carol. Happy (early) Birthday Mom! I hope you all enjoy. “Mistakes and all!“ as may mentor Buster B.
