Stealing $3 Tacos And Undersized! What Happened To This GATOR Backcourt? Stunted Growth

Before being arrested for stealing $3 Tacos, Erving Walker was an NYC prodigy with a shot at making the NBA. Kenny Boynton Jr was a McDonald’s All American with lots of opportunity and expectations. What Happened? A hometown Florida kid, Boynton had everything you’d want when it comes to the start you need in high school that gives you the best chance to make the NBA. He was a dominant scorer, that when hot could score at will and in bunches. He once eclipsed Teddy Dupe’s 56 point record with 61 in a game, 3 points shy of the all time Florida county high school single game record for points set by Phillip Helms with 64. Boynton had all the on court tools to be considered by the NBA in that he was quick, used to being the #1 guy, could shoot and take over games with his ability to get anywhere he wanted to on the floor. Add to that he was a McDonald’s all American and parade all American, the two major recognitions wanted by every high school player, that can set you up nicely to become a one and done prospect and propel you straight to the league.
