Fire ’n Ice 128k (2003) Walkthrough, ZX Spectrum

A huge game released for the NES system in 1993. The Spectrum version is an unofficial port released by Russian n-Discovery for the CAFe 2003 ZX Spectrum Game competition where it took 1st place. In Europe and Asia the game was released as Solomons Key 2. The game features 10 worlds with 10 levels each = 100 levels, and except for level 10 in each world, that is different in the Spectrum version, it is an accurate port, but with different music (inspired by the music in Kuru Kuru Kururin). Also the NES version has a secret game mode with “Hidden fields 101-150” with extra 50 levels, which is not in the Spectrum version. The start screen in the Spectrum version is inspired by Fire and Ice for the Amiga. The peaceful island Coolmint is attacked by flame monsters sent by the evil wizard Druidle.
