Removing An Enormous Warble From Inside A Small Kitten’s Head (Part 102)

Here is a really rewarding case we encountered today that we want to share!! This sweet kitten is infected with a warble. This is a larva of a fly that can infect the tissues of cats and dogs and create little holes in the skin to breathe out of. Eventually, these larva will fall out and pupate into a fly but before then they often cause irritation and infection in their host. They can also migrate to nervous system, eyes and digestive tract which can be life threatening. This is why we often have to pull them out for the patient. Chester here has stopped eating and drinking and had quite a fever secondary to his infection with a warble!!! They were both successfully pulled out infront of a very enthralled vet staff audience and we hope he is on his way to recovery!!. 2nd clip is that It’s spring now, there are babies everywhere. Last is where I say I do not need anymore cats, I do not need anymore cats See more of Tiffany Mason and more videos of her her
